Risk Inventory and Evaluation (RI&E)

Risk Inventory and Evaluation (RI&E)

Why Risk Inventory and Evaluation (RI&E)

Risk Inventory and Evaluation RI&E Risk Inventory and Evaluation (RI&E) is mandatory according to labor conditions. Employers are required to invent and evaluate risks (hazards) within their organization in terms of safety and health. Do not do this simply because it is required, but just for the safety, health and well-being of your employees.

Proveiance can help you with both a Task Risk Analysis (TRA) and Legal Risk Inventory and Evaluation (RI&E) within your organization.

What is a Task Risk Analysis (TRA)

A Task Risk Analysis (TRA) is a way of invent and then analyzing the risks (hazards) of project tasks(activities) within your organization.

    JSA, Job Safety Analyses

  • Making “real” Job Safety Analyses (JSA’s).
    Often JSAs are made from behind the desk by one person (usually the KAM coordinator). The identified risks are usually restricted to the general risks of a job. Actually this is a task RI&E. Not wrong, but it is not specific enough for a job which is regarded as high risk.
    A “real” JSA is customized and therefore contains the job-specific risks. A good JSA only will be made as a team of professional experts (eg an operator, maintenance technician, architect, etc.) discuss the risks with each other. In all other cases, the term “JSA” is not right and it is a task-specific RI&E.
  • Deepening Risk Inventory and Evaluations
    It may be necessary to establish an in-depth RI&E as some cases require more attention. For example:
    -hazardous substances;
    -organic agents;
    -physical strain.
    Proveiance offers support for many types of deepening RI&E
  • HAZOP studies (Hazard and Operability Analysis)
    The standard method is also known as failure analysis for identifying and evaluating process deviations.
    Proveiance can provide support to perform a HAZOP
