SafetyIntroductionTraining BP

In 2014, Leon Burgerhout (Proveiance) supported the remake of the SafetyIntroductionTraining for the BP Refinery Rotterdam. It was a multidisciplinary project. Several experts, like a safety engineer, operations- and maintenance employees, IT-specialists and security employees were closely involved.

Besides this, an education expert gave the necessary support. This was very important for creating the examination questions because everyone from every level has to understand the questions.

In the past, a dedicated instructor provided the training daily. This was very time consuming as it took more than three hours. The training is changed for an online module. It is available at every computer with internet connection, the examination is at the BP site.

The duration of the training is reduced considerably and the efficiency increased. On all areas the project was successful.
